Weekly Chaburah

DAT High School students are trained to know that learning only begins in the classroom. From Immersions to ECEs to Service Learning, the students gain an enormous amount of worldly experience during their time as students here. For Aaron Brooks, a current student, this mindset was not limited to school-organized activities. Beginning in 2016, Aaron decided to start running a weekly, student-led, lunch chaburah. This half hour shiur gives students the opportunty to expand their knowledge about a variety of interesting and unusual Halachic topics. While no student is required to attend the chaburah, Aaron is greeted weekly with close to a dozen excited peers. Aaron's chaburah is so popular that when an unexpected snow day prevented the students from gathering together during lunch, he took the initiative to run the shiur over the internet. Needless to say he had a grateful audience.

Feel free to enjoy any of Aaron's recorded shiurs along with his source sheets.

Happy learning!
