Do You Really Know Your Teachers?

Most of the time, we know our teachers primarily through their classes. Dr. Kramer teaches history, Mr. Musser teaches Chemistry and so on. But, for the first time ever, we decided to look past our daily classes and get to know our awesome teachers a little better. In this publication, we’ve decided to focus on five oof ur teachers: Mrs. Lev, Dr. Kramer, Mr. Musser, Mrs. Rothstein, and Mr. Davis.

Each of these teachers was born in a different place. Mrs. Lev in Pittsburgh, PA, Dr. Kramer in Denver, CO, Mr. Musser is Portsmouth VI, Mrs. Rothstein in Elkins Park, PA, and Mr. Davis in Louisville, KY. Growing up in these unique places, our teachers were all the surrounded by siblings. Mrs. Lev, Mr. Musser, and Mr. Davis all have two siblings, while Dr. Kramer has five and Mrs. Rothstein has three.

The most interesting part of our survey was when we asked each of our teachers to share an interesting fact about themselves. Mr. Davis told us that he supported himself through college by fighting wildfires. Mr. Musser loves to tell us all about his growing garden and variety of DIY projects he has completed around his house. Mrs. Lev claims she doesn’t have time to be interesting, which makes sense considering she’s running the school (But somehow we all love to hang out in her office anyway). Mrs. Rothstein once had the merit to save a man’s life by donating stem cells - which is incredible! Dr. Kramer lived in Western Australia for a summer doing research for her dissertation.

Overall, it seems that we have some pretty awesome teachers! Not only do they share their expert knowledge with us daily, but they also have so many interesting stories to keep us entertained.

Next semester, we will be introducing five more of our brilliant teachers!
